Secret Santa Mommy & Me Book Exchange | 2016

Welcome to the Secret Santa Mommy & Me Book Exchange reveal!

Ashley, Elizabeth, and I have so much fun hosting this one each year. I've had to step back from many blog related things this holiday season, but I love this exchange so much I couldn't give this one up. Although, it is probably a good thing a lot of other blog commitments had to be cut - I'm writing this up after finally getting Lincoln to sleep and it is just shy of 11pm. So tired, guys. Why do my babies hate going to bed at night? sigh

My Secret Santa this year was Whitney from Work it Mommy! She is one of my sweetest blog friends, so it was a perfect pairing. I was excited when a box from her arrived in the mail a few days after Lincoln's arrival. Check out what she sent Aria and me...

For Aria - Olaf's Night Before Christmas, which is such a cute version of the Night Before Christmas story. And, for me - First Frost by Sarah Addison Allen. I wish I had a moment to actually read it. Having any free time is definitely one of the big differences between welcoming baby #1 and welcoming baby #2. When Aria was born I read a book practically every two days. Since she made her appearance a little over 5 weeks early all she did was sleep snuggled up on either mom or dad pretty much for the entire first month. Lincoln is much more awake and he doesn't have the luxury of sleeping the day away on mom or dad because his big sister needs some attention as well. So, one day I am excited to get the chance to read this book.

Thank you, Whitney!

I was Nina from The Joni Journey's Secret Santa - pop over to see what we sent her. And, if you participated in the exchange this year please link up below - we'd love to see what you got!
