26 Weeks (Baby #2)

Sweet Turtle Soup - 26 Weeks with Baby #2

How far along - 26 weeks, due November 30th.

Gender - A little gentleman.

Cravings - Peanut butter toast, apples, and all the snacks that are bad.

Aversions - Warm water and hot food.

Best moment - Chris not having overtime this week. We like when he is around more.

Looking forward to - Finishing up our summer bucket list.

Miss anything - Having more energy.

Movement - Lots. He is starting to get annoyed when I lay on my side. I must squish him. So he squirms around a bunch. And, nope nobody else has felt him still.

Other pregnancy symptoms - Tired, tired, and more tired. Running to the bathroom every other minute. I go from full to starving in 2 seconds, and if I don't eat something quickly enough I end up feeling sick. But, then if I eat one bite too much I feel awful. Headaches. And, the dizzies when I'm up and about too much. I've taken to doing everything in 4 steps, a little bit at a time. Basically just feeling pregnant.

Aria's thoughts - She keeps asking if I will have to stay at the hospital long when I go to have the baby. Makes me dread leaving her even more. I'm going to miss that first born of mine. Such big changes on the horizon for everybody.

  1. Staying at the hospital with my second was THE WORST too. In fact I remember crying before going to bed the second night. I just wanted to be home SO badly. Hopefully you can bust out of there quickly.

  3. Peanut butter was my biggest craving with Tate! So yummy! Thankfully I still like it!

  4. Pregnancy is hard, for sure, especially when there's also a toddler to take care of. It was hard leaving Reese at home for a bit, but because of when Charlotte came, it wasn't too bad- we went to the hospital around 9 pm, and Reese came to visit the next morning. At least your grandma will be there with Aria. It's going to be so fun for you when she finally meets her little brother!

  5. Warm food was my biggest aversion too! I'm not even pregnant, but the thought of leaving Mason when (if) we ever have a 2nd for that hospital stay gives me anxiety!

  6. The thought of the hospital stay is killing me - I don't want to leave Mila either. Hopefully it's quick and easy and you'll be in and out without a long hospital stay!

  7. With both of my pregnancies I had to have ice in every drink, now that I'm not pregnant, no way, if it's cold that's enough for me :) Every now and then I'll put ice in my drink and hubby always says, you're not pregnant are you, LOL. I was so ready to get home after the second, luckily we had her so late at night that even though I stayed for two nights it only felt like 1 night, since the first night shew as born, if that makes sense. We were so ready to bust out of there first thing...and then it took forever to get discharged.

  9. Mmmm, peanut butter toast. Sounds delicious.

I hope that you won't be away from Aria long & that she'll be able to visit a bit while you are at the hospital after having her lil brother.

  10. Peanut butter toast! Marcus would correct you and say that's French Toast. HA!!
I have my fingers and toes crossed that your hospital stay is a quick one. When I had Julia we were there Friday-Monday, and while Marcus came to visit every day I did miss my little nugget during that time.

  11. I definitely remember that starving to full in 2 seconds routine and it sucked. I had Declan around 6 am and left the next day, so one night in the hospital. Hopefully it's the same for you. Honestly, I kinda liked that alone time with him. With Ez it was so hectic because the three of us were crammed into that room and people coming to visit, and I felt territorial, like all I wanted to do was hold my baby and be left alone. With Declan I felt like I got more one on one bonding time right from the beginning.

  13. I totally understand hating the idea of being without your first born while at the hospital. I was so worried about being away from Cam. He wasn't allowed to visit since it was flu season. Stop squishing that baby boy. ;)

  14. Cravings : all the snacks that are bad.
Umm is it bad that I'm craving all the snacks that are bad and I'm not pregnant? (as I type this, eating some See's candy...)

  15. I hope your hospital stay is quick! I had Wyatt Wednesday afternoon & we were home Thursday evening! It was the best ever. With Cash, we were there Thursday evening {I had him on Friday morning} & we left Sunday.

  16. Liam had a hard time when I was at the hospital, but it was only one night which was nice! Push to get out of there as quick as you can!
