The corn maze is about an hour away from us and we wanted to get there right when it opened. So, we hit the road, drove past a lot of cows and horses, and arrived about 30 minutes late because I suck at getting out of the door in the morning.
We arrived and saw all sorts of fun things. Aria was chanting jumpy thing in the backseat. There were a heap of people there already and we braved the porta potty on the way in - Aria was legit appalled, and it was the cleanest one I've ever seen. I had to talk her into using another one before we left. Sorry kid, suck it up.
We (mostly Aria) hopped on the jumping pillow over and over, played in tunnels and on spider webs, dug through a box full of corn, sat on tiny digger things, scratched farm animals behind the ears, took a picture by the 'how tall this fall' sign I've seen all over - I was so excited about it, rode on the barrel train a couple of times, ate popcorn and fries, drank sweat tea, posed by headless cowpeople...cowpokes?, survived the big maze, and sat on large tractors.
We missed a few things as it got more crowded towards the afternoon, but we had more than enough fun before we called it quits and got back to an air conditioned car. I'll definitely add it to the list of fall activities next year.
