The Seven Hour Playdate!

The other weekend we finally got all the kiddos together for a big ol' playdate. Friends that we've known for years. We all hung out in college/high school together. We all eventually got married. And now we all have children. The youngest being 4 months and the oldest being two and a half. It was about time we all gathered together for a pool & lunch playdate, thanks to Kiel for hosting.

Would you believe I didn't think to get a picture of all four kids together?

Do take notice of the begging bunny behind Rory, the ever watchful Obi with nose to the glass door, and the not happy about it at all Olly in the background.

After we filled our bellies two of the four kids headed home for a nap. Aria, however, wanted to stay for more swimming with her ducks and pool boating and tire swinging and pup playing and baby Olly smooches.

We finally convinced Aria that it was time to head home around 5 after arriving at 10 that morning. Did she sleep like a log that night? Yes, yes she did. So did mom for that matter.

I'm down for another really soon though!

  7. That looks like so much fun! It's always great to get together with old friends. I love having people over at our house, since when it's time for Annabelle to sleep, I can put upstairs and then enjoy the company.

  9. Play dates like that are the absolute best! Even better when a pool and solid sleep are involved.
This reminds me that we need to coordinate something very similar to this, very soon. :)
