Spring Bucket List - Dye Easter Eggs

Spring Bucket List - Dye Easter Eggs
Another item that can be crossed off of our Spring Bucket List, dying Easter eggs! I love the cups you can buy with the little tablets of dye. It makes it much easier to clean up. We planned on dying our eggs on Easter Eve, but we ran out of time so it got pushed to Easter Sunday. It worked out perfectly though. We colored our eggs and then set them out on the table to dry. While we were busy doing other things the Easter bunny stopped by and hid them for us. Then he called up Aria to let her know she could go hunt them.

  4. Great list! I don't know which activity I like better, the ice ream date or the strawberry picking? I love picking strawberries, I am looking forward to it this year! You got two things down and a whole list to go! Good luck and have fun!

  5. I haven't dyed eggs in forever! Although this year I did participate in a egg hunt. You can never be too old to act like a kid in my opinion.

  6. Our dying Easter eggs experience was a giant fail! Yours look awesome. We too have breakfast on the beach in our spring bucket list now that we live just 2 miles from one!

  8. I have never dyed eggs. How sad is that?! These little cups looks perfect and easy though. Maybe just maybe next year I'll have my first dye session. And that Easter bunny-- so tricky making multiple stops to your house. Best. Bunny. Ever.

  9. I love Aria's dress!! How cool and totally handy that those little cups came with the dye?! That is a genius idea! I just had Mia paint the eggs because I was terrified of the mess that could come from dyeing... I just pictures allllll the cups being spilled at the same time, ha ha.

  17. Yay for Spring bucket lists!
We've dyed eggs on Easter Sunday the last few years, since we don't hide the real eggs anyway. It's a fun activity to do on that day. :)

  19. You are one brave mama! I refused to let Mason dye eggs this year for fear of what mess would come! Maybe next year? Or I saw someone (I think Jenny?) post about painting plastic eggs with paint and thought that was a good idea too! Regardless, your eggs turned out great!!!

  21. She is so cute! Love her dress! And you are such a great (and brave) mama for letting her dye eggs in that dress! We skipped dying eggs this year because I absolutely cannot trust Mac not to spill dye everywhere or dye the cat or something! :) Maybe next year...or maybe never.

  25. I am impressed she helped dye eggs in that dress and didn't get it dirty! Good work mom :) I skipped doing it this year, but I think next year we'll have to tackle this.

  26. Aria looks like she had the best time dying her eggs. And, she certainly dyed them in style. That dress is adorable.
I totally failed this year and we didn't dye a single egg. It's already on the bucket list for next year, though!
