Sweet Sunday

August 24th - September 6th
All of our simply sweet moments from the past two weeks.

Sweet Turtle Soup: Sweet Sunday
Aria's bestie Rory turned one and had a pool party! Don't you love the blue of pool water?

Sweet Turtle Soup: Sweet Sunday
Smooches for great grandma.

Aria loves sharing an apple with dad. Although, it is more like stealing. She doesn't like giving it back to him, but she will hold it to his mouth for a bite if he asks extra nicely.

Sweet Turtle Soup: Sweet Sunday
 Our first driveway chalk art!

Sweet Turtle Soup: Sweet Sunday
9 minutes later she was over it.

Sweet Turtle Soup: Sweet Sunday
I had to document Aria eating her sandwich like one normally eats a sandwich, i.e., by biting it. Any other time I give her a sandwich she would pull apart the bread and lick each half, or wipe off the insides if she didn't fancy them and eat the bread. So, first pb&j eaten like a pb&j!

Sweet Turtle Soup: Sweet Sunday
Just snuggling with Lizzy and drinking a smoothie. The usual.

Sweet Turtle Soup: Sweet Sunday
After the epic meltdown the other day. 'Great Grandma understands me...you can go away mom.' Note the bloomers in her hand, aka the reason for the tantrum in the first place.

Sweet Turtle Soup: Sweet Sunday
Aria's favorite thing lately has been dragging great grandma off to her bedroom to riffle through her desk and then wash hands and feet 12 times in the sink. Every chance she gets she's saying..up, door, in, up, door, in. Basically move it great grandma we're going to your room!

Just hanging outside with the two lovebirds on the wire, and a purse.

Sweet Turtle Soup: Sweet Sunday
The whole gang plopped on the porch. Baxter is so anti-social.

Sweet Turtle Soup: Sweet Sunday
Laurie inspired me to put Aria's hair in piggies the other day. And, I figured if we were going to do piggies we might as well wear the sweetest pumpkin romper in the land too. Go big or go home. Chris thought they were the cutest thing when he came home for lunch.
We went to the grocery later that day and as we were walking in I noticed that she pulled half down. I tried to tame it into one pony, but she kind of looked like Doc Brown in Back to the Future.

Sweet Turtle Soup: Sweet Sunday
Getting ready for a nap with bunny, Pluto, and her blanket. That magical time of the day. You can kind of see her Doc Brown hair.

Sweet Turtle Soup: Sweet Sunday
I think Aria wishes the temperatures were getting lower. Me too, kid. Me too.

Have a sweet Sunday!

  7. We have that same Pluto :) Reese is really into all the Fab Five characters right now, so right now he's sitting in our living room. Love the pigtails and romper- very fall-esque and so adorable! Her curls are so cute and I can't believe how old she's looking with her hair getting longer.

  10. LOVE the pigtails! And how she is obviously ready to go somewhere! ;) Wyatt has learned that when mama has her purse, we're going somewhere. The other day he didn't want to be somewhere so he kept trying to give me my purse, ha!
