Not at all interested in the hand holding thing though, so much being knocked over by waves went down.

I enjoy morning beach trips. Get up, grab some fruit and 400 towels, and hit the road.

I wouldn't say that I love the beach, but it does make for a fun outing every once and a while. Although, if it were up to Chris it would be more like an every other day outing.
Your turn! Post about how you've been crossing off your Summer Bucket list and link up with us below!

  2. That's so cool that you live so close to the beach - I so wish we lived on/near a coast! I love the first few pictures where she looks like she's dancing :)

  4. It looks like your cute baby girl loves the beach! I am excited because we leave tomorrow for a 12 hour drive to Seaside, FL for some beach fun. A little nervous about the 12 hour drive with my 2 year old but super excited about the beach!!!!

  6. You don't LOVE the beach?! Haha ;) love those pictures!!! Especially the 2nd one where she is dancing, totally goes with the lyrics. Like something from the 50s. Love it. Looks like y'all are having tons of fun. Did you take your real camera with you? How did your age to keep sand/water off of it? Sand seems to get EVERYWHERE (for days) when we go to the beach.

  7. I'm not crazy about the beach either...it's the sand. I'd much rather be at a swimming pool. I can't wait to take Wyatt, though. I actually think he may have my "fear" of the sand as well, that should be interesting! ;) Love seeing the beach adventure!!

Also, is Aria like Wyatt?? I swear, we go to the pool and all he wants to do is snack, ha!!

  9. Since kids I don't enjoy the beach anymore. BUT that beach is gorgeous! Meaning clean and not crowded so therefore. winner winner.

  11. Looks like you guys had such a fun time! I have been wanting to go to the beach, but I just haven't gotten around to. Family time at the beach is such a great idea. I should go convince Terry to go sometime soon!

  13. Aww, what a sweet heart! It looks like you guys had fun. My little cousin doesn't like the beach (crazy I know!!), she doesn't like the way the salt water feels on her hands. Hah. I hope you guys have a great day!

  15. Gosh... you know... I wish Aria was happy. She never smiles! LOL. No really, she looks like she is having a BLAST! I wish the water was warmer here so we could go to the beach more. I say more...we never go. And it's totally my fault! Like you said...so much to pack...and it's so crowded...and hot....and I am such an un fun mom! haha

  16. Wow ok maybe we need to take a beach trip soon. I mean it will be a lake not an ocean but wow this makes me want to go play in the sand! She just looks like she's loving it! So sweet to see her in the waves and holding daddy's hand and check out the wet sand. I just love all of it! Some super cute photos of you and her too!

  19. I'm with Chris if I lived close to the beach, I think I'd stay there daily. I can't get enough of it.

  20. I'm with Chris - if it were up to me we would be at the beach ev.er.y.day. Scott, on the other hand, not so much.
Looks like Aria had a great time, though! And, what a gorgeous day, and a beach all to yourselves.

  21. How fun!! I wish we lived closer to a beach. We are taking an adults only trip with 3 other couples in September to Galveston Island. It's nothing close to a Florida beach, though!! Love Aria's little swimsuit!
