It's the Little Things :: 7

Joining up with Ashley at Words About Waverly and Jess at Sadie Sky Boutique today for 'little things' with another video. Today's video is from our St. Patrick's shenanigans this past weekend, specifically from the first morning one of the leprechaun twins visited. I set up the camera to capture Aria coming out of her room and seeing the first glimpse of the living room. Unfortunately the video keeps re-focusing at the start, but I still love it. Her face made the whole weekend awesome. She got into all the activities going on and it really made the holiday a lot of fun for both of us. Check out how Aria reacts to the magical mischief that Leyland leaves for her! (p.s. there isn't really any sound other than the whirring of the bubble machine)

    1. It was, balloons are always a hit with Aria. We had fun with them until we had a popping party on St. Patty's day. Although the helium ones are still going strong =)

    1. Hey, thanks! Maybe just for the weekend though. After we did so much the past two days have felt super slow and boring. I think I need a Frozen dance party tomorrow to shake things up again!

    1. I was about ready to burst with happiness when she actually cared about the balloons in the living room! Totally a top mommy moment for me.

  5. STOP IT. You make me feel like a slacker. I did nothing for St. Paddy's Day except through up a few decorations. This is seriously the most adorable thing. EVER!

    1. Ha, noo! Don't feel like a slacker! There isn't always enough time to go all out on holidays, sometimes you just have to wear green and call it a day! I definitely didn't do anything when Aria was little, functioning on a human level was all I could focus on.

    1. haha, thank you that is super sweet of you to say! I'm trying not to be too bummed that her face wasn't very clear at the start...hopefully it will stay with me in memory without the video, it was one of those perfect mommy moments when they love something you did!

    1. Thank you, thank you! I've always been semi-holiday crazy, but really just the big one - Christmas. Now with Aria I've reached whole new levels of nuts =) Seeing her react, enjoy, and love the things I plan makes holidays 100x more fun now than they ever were. Although I'm not sure I ever did anything for St. Patrick's day any other time ever...so really not that hard to top, ha!
