Pajama Party!

Today the good life blog and The Tichenor Family are hosting a Halloween Pajama Party link up for little ghosts and goblins. Since I am obsessed with holiday jammies I definitely couldn't resist joining in on the fun.

Although, honestly I was annoyed at the slim pickings for footed Halloween pajamas. There were many more two piece footless pj options. Unfortunately, I didn't want two piece ones. When I found this one from carters I snagged it because it was all I could find. Thankfully it ended up being much cuter on this little pumpkin then on the hanger!

By the way, when do the little ones 'graduate' to footless jammies? Aria definitely doesn't stay under a blanket, and I am afraid her toesies would freeze.

    1. She picked that little pumpkin out all herself too. She had a blast at the pumpkin patch.

  2. Found you through the PJ linkup.

She is a cutie! I think you could switch to footless when ever you are ready :) If you are worried about little toes, just put socks on her before she goes to bed.

I can't wait to read more from you :)

    1. I am not sure why socks didn't cross my mind, I think I assumed she would just pull them off. But, I am totally going to try footless sleepers for Christmas because I already can't find cute footed ones! Oy.

  3. Found you from the PJ linkup. What a cutie!! You could always do footless with grip socks... better yet, Halloween grip socks! :)

    1. I wasn't brave enough to try footless this holiday, but I think I will jump on board for Christmas. So many more options! Socks are a great idea, and yet I never thought of them... Thanks for popping over!

  4. Such a little sweetie! Totally adorable :) I used to put our son Owen in footless jammies (still do, but now he sleeps under blankets) when it was hot or when he would be wearing a sleep sack.

    1. My reservation comes from her nursery being the coldest room in the house, especially at night. Which is probably good because she is a hot sleeper like mom and dad. I think I'll trouble shoot footless for Christmas, maybe add some socks like everybody suggests! Thanks for stopping over.

  5. I didn't get any Halloween PJs for that very reason! (still a little sad about it) Callie still wears one piece feet PJs. She has a blanket in her crib but always kicks it off. She also pretty much hates socks and has taken them off since she was like 6mo old. So we're sticking with one piece PJs with feet for awhile! I don't know when you are supposed to "graduate" out of feet/one piece Pjs but Carter's makes them up to 5T :)

PS I still LOVE those Pjs you found!

    1. She just grew into 12 months size and now they all have little grippers on the feet, which I love - definitely helpful for her mobility. But, I think I will try some footless just so I can get cute Christmas ones - I love the one with a cocoa on it from baby gap. Sign me up for cocoa any ol' day! I kind of think Aria will be a sock remover because she pulls on her toes now, but we will try!

  6. Connor wears 12m jammies and they are hard to find in one piece at a good price. He is okay wearing socks so that helps and he has a blanket with him while he sleeps.
Your little girl looks adorable! Happy pajama party day!

    1. Aria just moved into the 12 month sizes in jammies. We have a killer resale shop where we get almost all of her clothes from - 3 bucks each, can't beat that! Although, her yia-yia (my MIL) sends huge boxes of clothes bi-monthly. She has three boys and is really into sending all the girl clothes now, also first grandchild.
Aria is such a wild child in her crib she is out from under her blanket almost the instant I put it on her. I'm going to try this sock idea everybody is suggesting! Maybe she will keep em on.

  7. Love your little cutie with her pumpkin! My 20 month old still wears footed pjs with grips on the bottom (especially now that the temps are dropping).

  8. Love Love Aria's PJ's! So cute!

My 17 month old still wear footie pajamas most of the time, although footie pajamas are starting to look silly in such large sizes! Still so cute, so I can't resist! Thanks for stopping by!

    1. Haha I remember looking at 6 month sized jams and thinking they were too big, my baby will never fit in those!!! Now I look at the 18 month sized jams and think that...and all the rest look so tiny.

  10. Love those PJ's. Avery started wearing footless at about 14 months. Sometimes we put her in the footie pj's and she pulls at the feet!

    1. I think I am going to have to try this sock concept people are suggesting with footless pjs for Christmas. The Christmas jams are too cute to pass up! Does Avery pull off socks since she pulls at her footie pj feet?

Thanks for leaving a comment! Happy almost Friday...let the Halloween festivities begin.

  11. I always try and tuck Eisley witha blankie in her chair when we nap during the day and she ALWAYS kick it off. We have a blanket protester here as well.

    Happy Thursday!

    1. lol at 'blanket protester'! I couldn't keep Aria in a swaddle or covered as a newborn either. Kid sleeps in every position known to man at night - I don't think she'd even keep a sleep sack on, I'm afraid she would tangle herself up in it. Just another fun thing to worry about, at least it is a little thing.

    1. Aria is barely fitting in hers, but I am still squeezing her into them for another week! I am determined =) But, as soon as November hits I am breaking out some bigger Turkey Day or Christmas jams!

Thanks for stopping over, happy almost Halloween!
